Modular Light Panels
During a summer internship with Nanoleaf, I worked on their new remote. This device works seamlessly with their other product, the Nanoleaf Aurora. The Aurora is a series of modular smart light panels which can be arranged in any pattern the user would like to display them in.

The remote uses motion sensors to detect when the user rotates the device or turns it onto another of its faces. The remote works with the app, to deliver a system which is easy to use and integrate into an IoT system. I also worked on the development of the Nanoleaf Rhythm, which is a plug-in device that connects to the Aurora modular panels and allows them to interact and respond to music. Before the end of my placement, I was also involved in the development of their app, working on the UX/UI.
Nanoleaf is a start-up company who used crowdfunding to kickstart their business and produce the worlds most efficient light bulb. After exceeding their target, they decided to break into the market of smart lighting and began developing modular lighting panels.
